Beginning March 5, Dickinson State University students make their directorial debuts on the university’s mainstage at Dorothy Stickney Auditorium in May Hall, beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Sat. March. 6 p.m and again at 2 p.m. on Sun. March. 7.

Associate Professor of Theatre and Communication Arts Jarvis Jahner said after COVID-19 put a damper on last year’s scheduled shows, Jahner’s department decided to move the show to the main theatre in order to allow social distancing.

“We’re doing (the plays) on our main stage because of COVID, so we can have an audience and they can be socially distant, normally we would do it in our black box theater…it’s kind of a different year for us,” Jahner said.
