Dickinson State University held the 2022 Faculty and Staff Recognition & Awards Ceremony Monday, May 2, 2022, in the DSU Student Center Ballroom. The following individuals were recognized for excellence in their respective areas.
Dickinson State University (DSU) Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) members attended the ND PBL State Leadership Conference in Mandan Friday and Saturday, April 8-9, 2022. During this conference, students attended workshops, competed in up to three career skills competitions, and networked with other college students and business professionals.
Several DSU students earned top placements in their individual and team competitions. These students will have the opportunity to move on to the next level of competition at the PBL National Leadership Conference in Chicago in June.

(Medora, ND) – The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) is happy to announce that Emily Klym, an Edgeley native who graduated from Dickinson State University in 2012, has assumed the mantle of Chief Financial Officer for the organization.

Dickinson native Dylan Skabo ’18 graduated Dickinson High School in 2014 before earning his Bachelor of Science in accounting and business administration with a minor in leadership through the TRHLP (Theodore Roosevelt Honors Leadership Program). We caught up with him to see what he’s up to now.
Students taking business communication and human relations courses this fall have had the privilege of being the first Blue Hawks taught by Luc van Hoek, assistant professor of business. In addition to teaching in Wimbledon, Los Angeles, and most recently in Amsterdam, van Hoek has worked in human relations and marketing in the Netherlands and Belgium. We’re glad he chose to experience life in the American West by joining Dickinson State University’s (DSU) School of Business and Entrepreneurship!
