Homecoming 2022 Logo Contest

We need your help! We want YOU to design the logo for this year’s Homecoming. Enter your idea in our Logo Contest, and you could WIN a $250 VISA GIFT CARD!

You can enter more than one design concept, but they must include:

  1. Buster – You’ll find him at www.dickinsonstate.edu/logos. (Feel free to add a hat, shoes, etc.)
  2. “Bustin’ Through the Decades” – slogan
  3. “Homecoming 2022”

Hansen gift allows DSU to provide state-of-the-art nursing education

Glenice Hansen, BSN, MS and Dale Hansen, DDS have generously donated $100,000 to Dickinson State University’s (DSU) Department of Nursing. This gift, the largest ever given to the department, will support the renovation of the entire second floor of Murphy Hall, which will become the Glenice Hansen Nursing Center in honor of the family’s gift.

The DSU Heritage Foundation has awarded Dickinson State University (DSU) students $1.1 million dollars in scholarships for the 2021-22 upcoming school year. Awards include merit-based, need-based, academic, leadership, athletic, and rodeo scholarships.

Dickinson State University (DSU) is quite active in these enjoyable warm days.

In May, we held DSU’s first outdoor graduation. The weather was almost perfect, though a bit on the hot side for those in academic robes. The Class of 2021 demonstrated guts and grit by persevering through the many changes the pandemic forced upon us.
