After submitting a video audition, the Dickinson State University (DSU) Jazz Ensemble has been selected to perform at this year’s North Dakota Music Education Association’s convention in Bismarck, North Dakota. The performance will take place Friday, March 22, at 9:45 a.m. in the lobby of the Bismarck Events Center.
“This is a huge accomplishment for the DSU Jazz Ensemble,” said Dr. Jeremy Wohletz, assistant professor of music at the University. “When I ‘resurrected’ the ensemble three years ago, I had no idea what would happen with the group. It has grown and excelled and has earned this honor.”
This performance is open to the public.
