Dickinson State University held the 2022 Faculty and Staff Recognition & Awards Ceremony Monday, May 2, 2022, in the DSU Student Center Ballroom. The following individuals were recognized for excellence in their respective areas.
The Dickinson State University (DSU) President’s Cabinet recently approved a request from the Department of Teacher Education to form the School of Education in recognition of the unit’s importance to the University’s mission, as well as the addition of graduate programs.
Dickinson State University-Bismarck elementary education student Allison Ziebarth is one of several North Dakota-based educators who was selected to receive a grant covering an all-expenses paid trip to the 26th annual Space Exploration Educators Conference (SEEC) in Houston, Texas, Feb. 6-8, 2020.
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) announced that Dickinson State University (DSU) is one of 42 providers from 23 states and the District of Columbia to receive accreditation for their educator preparation programs. The spring 2019 review by the CAEP Accreditation Council resulted in 42 newly-accredited EPPs, bringing the total to 238 providers approved under the CAEP Teacher Preparation Standards – rigorous, nationally recognized standards that were developed to ensure excellence in educator preparation programs.
